ANIMAL LICENSES
Cat Licenses: The Borough does not license cats but does require all cats to be inoculated against Rabies. Dog Licenses and Information: Dog Licenses are required for any dog in the Borough of Paulsboro that meets the following: six months of age and has first rabies vaccination.
Once again, it is time to renew the 2023 Dog Licenses. In order to obtain a 2023 Dog License, a certificate of Rabies Vaccination must be presented and the vaccination must not expire before
October 31, 2023. If the dog is spayed or neutered, a certificate of spaying/neutering is needed. The cost to obtain the cost to obtain a dog license is as follows:
SPAYED/NEUTERED $ 10.00
UNSPAYED/UN-NEUTERED $ 15.00
A late fee will be charged after March 31st in the amount of $10.00.
It is illegal in the State of New Jersey to surgically de-bark a dog. If the dog is de-barked due to health issues, you must have documentation from the Veterinarian.
At this time, the Borough of Paulsboro will hold the annual free Rabies Clinic on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. TO 12:00 P.M. at the Borough Garage, Baird Avenue, Paulsboro, NJ 08066.
LARGE DOGS MUST BE MUZZLED.
ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH & UNDER OWNER'S CONTROL.
DOGS MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE RABIES CLINIC BY ADULTS ONLY!
You may purchase a Dog License at Clinic time. All Dog Licenses shall expire January 31, 2024. Proof of spaying/neutering & Rabies Vaccination is required.
COST: $10.00 SPAYED/NEUTERED
$15.00 UNSPAYED/UNNEUTERED
Payment can be made by cash, check or money order. If paying by cash, please have the exact amount.
A late fee will be charged after March 31st in the amount of $10.00.
Dog Licenses can be obtained at the Municipal Building weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Licenses may also be obtained by mail or by drop box on the Buck Street side entrance. The mailing address is Borough of Paulsboro, 1211 Delaware Street, Paulsboro, NJ 08066. When using the mail or the drop box, please enclose the following:
1. Copy of rabies certificate valid until October 31st, 2022.
2. Copy of spay or neuter information if applicable.
3. Name, color, breed, age of dog and if the dog has been surgically de-barked.
4. Telephone and address.
5. Check or Money Order made payable to the Borough of Paulsboro in the amount
indicated above. After March 31st, please add $10.00 to your amount.
REGISTRAR OF VITAL STATISTICS: Applications and Certificates
The Municipal Clerk/Registrar handles all requests for Marriage/Civil Union and Domestic Partnership License Applications and requests for certified copies of Birth, Marriage, Civil Union, Domestic Partnerships and Death Certificates. Records on file are those events that occurred in the Borough of Paulsboro. To obtain a certified copy of any birth, marriage or death that occurred in the Borough of Paulsboro, an application must be completed. Click here for the application. The Borough of Paulsboro uses the same application as the State. The cost for all certified copies is $5.00 for each certified copy of a birth, marriage, civil union, domestic partnership or death certificate. Please pay by cash, check or money order.

- Applicant A and/or Applicant B must be a resident of the Borough of Paulsboro. Current Photo I.D. with proof of residency in the Borough of Paulsboro
- A Witness over the age of 18.
All three must have photo I.D.
If filling out the application, please do not sign the application until all has appeared in front of the Registrar.

VOTER INFORMATION
To be eligible to vote at an election:
You must be 18 years of age by election day.
You must have registered to vote at least 29 days before the election. Voter Registration Forms can be printed from the Board of Elections at www.co.gloucester.nj.us/depts/c/cclerk/elecserv.
If you are a registered voter and have changed your name through marriage, divorce or legal decree, you may go to the polls and vote by signing both names. Your records will be corrected accordingly.

The Borough of Paulsboro has Election Districts. Your district and polling place are printed in the lower left corner of the sample ballot you receive approximately 10 days prior to every election.
